As a result of our very successful International Women’s Day we are continuing to meet once a month. We will have speakers on topics important to women and socialise over a coffee or a glass of wine. Our next speaker will be Jacqui Calder who has been a Herbalist for 26 years. She has lived in Highland Perthshire since 1998, moving from Edinburgh in order to establish her herb garden and to have access to wild plants for medicine. Unusually within modern pharmacy, she still makes much of her own dispensed medicines following traditional methods and recipes. In this talk she will focus on women’s herb lore, its historical context, contemporary role and value in women’s health and wellbeing.
Tuesday 12th July 8pm on the Mezzanine
This event is funded by the Women’s Fund for Scotland, administered by Foundation Scotland.
