Films raising awareness of major environmental issues…
The cinema programme regularly features films and documentaries shining a light on the realities and impact of climate change. Providing much food for thought, challenging many commonly held beliefs and inspiring support for the work still to be done.
That’s why we accompany these screenings with discussions and workshops to share reactions and ideas and possibly even support public campaigns.
Artifishal – Tuesday 30th July at 6.30pm
‘Attention Anglers, river lovers and fish eaters….
The road to extinction is paved with good intentions!
Artifishal is a film about people, rivers, and the fight for the future of wild fish and the environment that supports them. It explores wild salmon’s slide toward extinction, threats posed by fish hatcheries and fish farms, and our continued loss of faith in nature.
Join us at the end of the film for refreshments and a discussion on the issues the film raises.
