What is a scrapstore? Come along on Saturday 7th December between 12-4pm and find out! Bring along an old t shirt to turn into something else – maybe a tree decorations, scarf or hair scrunch.
Remake in Crieff is Perthshire’s only scrapstore which receives donations of dry, clean & safe business waste offcuts, end of line or surplus materials such as textiles, paper, card & plastic, wood, metals.
Volunteers package them as alternative arts and crafts resources for community groups, schools, families and individual crafters.
The Scrapstore provides community groups and individuals with cheap and alternative art and craft supplies and is home to low-cost, varied and abundant scrap materials including clean surplus resources collected from individuals, business and industry. Remake also has a furniture and tool reuse project.
Pop in, find out about scrapstores, crafty reuse and the Reuse Hub in Crieff.
Maybe Aberfeldy could set one up?
Scrap, unwanted and reusable items all suitable for home crafting and upcycling projects will be available take away in return for a donation.
